Precautions for people who want massage
Massage treatment is not recommended for certain people below:
Open wounds, infections skin disease, rash and immediately after surgery and immediately after radiation or chemotherapy, unless recommended by your doctor. People have prone to blood clots. There is a risk for those who have blood clots being dislodged. If your body have heart disease, check with your doctor before having an Asian body massage.
Pregnant women should check with their doctor first if they are considering getting a body massage. Asian body massage in pregnant women should be done by Asian massage therapists who are certified in pregnancy massage.
Asian massage should not be done directly over inflamed skin, bruises, unhealed wounds, abdominal hernia, tumours, or areas of recent fractures.
